On Memorial Day (I know that was a long time ago, but I still have Easter pictures that I never posted) we invited the neighbor kids to help us bash in a pinata. I made this one. It's a pig. Isaac made one that looks like Mickey Mouse, but we haven't smashed it yet.
Here's Tommy taking a swing at it.
The kids scoop up the goodies. Even though Lizzy looks like she's right in the thick of things, she ended up with one lollipop, and that's about it. Perfect, if you ask me.
Barbecue with our fabulous neighbors, who were kind enough to invite us. The food was excellent.
Lizzy hitching a ride. Thanks Tommy!
My little Coppertone Baby
This was our pool at the beginning of the summer. Nice and roomy. (Sorry I'm too computer dumb to figure out how to put it right side up.)
Isaac finally couldn't stand it anymore, so we got a little pool that we could fill up on the grass outside our apartment. Lizzy absolutely LOVES it. She talks about her little pool all the time.
The little garden we planted outside our apartment is going crazy. For some reason we planted a ton of sunflowers. This variety was only supposed to grow 18 inches tall, but I guess this is what happens when you use organic fertilizer. We've also gotten radishes, lettuce, and strawberries. We're still waiting on our tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers, but they should be done any day now.

The kids were looking over my shoulder and said, "Wow! I can't believe how old Lizzy is!" They can't wait to see her at Christmas (along with her little brother!!)
Looks like you're having a great summer.
You are funny. I love your cute garden and the picture I have in my head of that boy kneeling to eat a strawberry.
I love your piggy pinata. I know it was in honor of me, wasn't it? ;) I'm glad that your garden is flourishing. I miss seeing it and watching its progress. I'll be up there in a couple weeks. I can't wait to see you guys and your new little man (for your sake, I hope he comes sooner rather than later). Yay!
Oh, I sooo have to visit you... (Isn't it exciting to have your very own super stalker?)
